‘Cause I LOVE Gradient Maps, I am going to show a cool way to make new awesome gradients and it is so easy and so effective in getting cool results and splashes of color. Check it out!
So you open up your gradient box. (I usually use my gradients as gradient maps, so you can go to Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Gradient Map). Now click on the gradient to pull up the option menu below:

I have circled two things. The first is the drop down menu. You want this selected to “noise.” Next slide the scale below that so that the grain (“noise”) is now smooth. You can see this one set to 6. Second thing circled is “Randomize.” If you click this you will find that a new mesh of colors is brought up. Now if you find a gradient you like, you can hit the “New” button and it will save it to the pallette. To save it to your Presets folder, just save the gradient set.
You can also play with the RBG settings in the bottom left corner, too.
Hope y’all enjoyed this quick and easy way to get awesome color to you art!
