Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I found someone stealing your art on deviantart:

I left them a comment and reported it to deviantart, but they usually respond better when the complaint comes from the artist themselves. It looks like the user has stolen many different people’s arts, slapped on a different background, and claimed them as her own. Sorry to have to be the one to tell you – I know how pissed I get when I find someone’s been stealing my work :/

I’m certain that they intended to kill him off and I suspect they would have handed the big hero role to the Kate character in his absence. I think that closing shot was conceived as they were rewriting the pilot. I sort of love it. You know…and the circle closes. Reminds be of the Ouroboros that Hawking was wearing FBYE.
